By the time students graduate from high school, we expect them to be...    

        Effective Communicators Who:

  • Master skills necessary for conveying, receiving and interpreting information.
  • Write essays logically, coherently and clearly to support an opinion that is relatively free of grammatical errors.
  • Ask questions and engage in discussion to inform, defend or expand knowledge.

     

    Complex Thinkers Who:

  • Acquire the knowledge and skills needed to analyze, evaluate and apply them to solve problems.
  • Transfer learned skills to new situations.
  • Use logical decision-making processes.

     

    Effective 21st Century Citizens Who:

  • Integrate media and technology effectively as part of their learning process.
  • Are creative, original, persistent, and realistic.
  • Take ownership and pride in their work.
  • Have the expertise in establishing and maintaining effective relations with people with different beliefs and values.
  • Prioritize and use time effectively.
  • Help teach each other.
